One of us

Youth Council Krusevac hosted an international training course “One of us” from 26th of October until 2nd of November 2011. Participants came from six countries (Serbia, France, Malta, Slovenia, Macedonia and Lithuania), and the project was financed by European Commission’s programme “Youth in Action”.
The main aim of the training was to support and enable youth workers to develop their abilities in work with youngsters coming from lesser opportunity backgrounds. Youth workers had the opportunity to share ideas and learn new methods which in turn allowed them to reach desired goals with the young people that they work with. As a result, youth workers acquired the appropriate skills, methods and knowledge to help young people with lesser opportunities to integrate and in turn be “one of us”.
