Youth Council Krusevac is one of the partners to Belgrade Open School and Fund for Open Society within a project “European union in my community – more efficient and more rational development policies in process of EU integrations”. The aim of this project is to strengthen capacities of civil society organizations in process of EU integrations on local level, and the project itself is consisted of two educational programs, and virtual – online school.

First educational program was realized through seminar “Partnership for European integrations in local communities”, and second through seminar “European integrations and local development policies in Serbia”. Representatives of civil society organizations were enabled to exchange experiences and ideas and get concrete advices and guidelines from eminent lecturers through online program “Regional cooperation for European integrations 2007 – 2013: actors and instruments”.

Main aims of this project are:
• Promoting and encouraging cross-sector partnerships in creating and implementing local development policies in process of EU integrations
• Enabling representatives of civil society organizations for activism on local and regional level, recognizing the problem and implementing project activities in order to solve the problem and promote/encourage further course of EU integrations
• Capacity building of civil society organizations regarding monitoring the process of EU integrations within local authorities in Serbia
• Acquiring new and upgrading existing knowledge/skills of CSO representatives regarding regional cooperation, programs and funds of European union available to Serbia in the period 2007-2013
• Continuation of the process of networking CSO representatives and promoting activities of regional character in process of EU integrations
